Hand Carved Soapstone
Soapstone (also knows as steatite) has
been a medium for carving for thousands of years. Our unique products
are hand carved by
skilled Artisans, they are
practical as well as decorative. Great for gift giving.
Care
: To take care of soapstone is a breeze.
To maintain your
soapstone use a damp cloth for daily cleanings when needed.. Oiling will
enhance the luster and color of the stone, and restore that brand new
look once again. Use a clean cotton cloth to apply oil and a clean cloth
to wipe off excess. This process is simply wipe on, then wipe off.
Tip: After applying mineral oil using a cotton cloth, put the cloth in a
zip lock bag for future use.
