Acacia is an environmentally friendly hardwood that is grown all over the world. Historically referred to as "Monkeypod", this pod-bearing tree's wood is known for its beautiful grain and dark, rich contrasting colors ranging from gold to chocolate brown. Acacia wood has an unusual property known as chatoyancy - it appears to change color and luster in different lighting conditions. Our Acacia wood items have been hand carved from one piece of hardwood. These pineapple shaped bowls are great for presenting crackers, cheeses, various nuts, appetizers, or your favorite other snacks. Just hand wash with warm soapy water and air dry - Care.
